PayPro Global, the leading eCommerce platform to sell software, SaaS and cloud services, announced today that it has appointed Stefan Cenusa to be Risk and Compliance Director as the eCommerce provider continues to monitor its high security standards in the wake of increased cyber threats in the industry.
Ecommerce industry as whole is a subject of constant attacks by cyber criminals. According to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, every $100 in fraudulent transactions actually cost a merchant $308, up from $279 last year. This represents a significant amount of risk for software, SaaS and cloud vendors worldwide. This means that online merchants need to tighten their security to prevent significant resource leaks, as well as keep the customer experience intact.
Stefan Cenusa is a seasoned professional with over 8 years of experience in risk management in the payments and eCommerce industry. He has a proven track record in quality assurance, risk analysis and production management.
Stefan Cenusa will lead the Risk and Compliance department and enhance the multi-level fraud check currently present at PayPro Global. This means keeping up with the constantly rising PCI-DSS compliance standards, fine-tuning fraud prevention procedures, mining customer behavioural data and ensuring the company’s security software and hardware are up to the latest industry standards.
“Fraud prevention is particularly tricky because there is a very fine line between preventing fraudulent transactions, without false positives. The Card Not Present environment grows increasingly aggressive with each passing year and cyber criminals always find new ways to bypass the system” commented Meir Amzallag, CEO, PayPro Global Inc. “This is why we are continuing and further enhancing our innovative approach, adopting high-tech solutions to counter internet fraud and minimize losses for our eCommerce partners, as well as protect their customers. We are confident that Stefan Cenusa will lower even further fraud occurrences in our system and improve customer experience at the same time” he added.
