How to Calculate SaaS Click-Through Rate (CTR)
To calculate your SaaS CTR, please follow these steps:
- Determine how many clicks there are. This is how many times people have clicked on your link or advertisement overall. Usually, your analytics dashboards or SaaS marketing solutions have this information.
- Determine the total impressions. This is the overall number of times your link or advertisement has appeared, whether or not it was clicked. This is also there in your SaaS marketing platform, much like click data.
- Calculate the ratio of clicks to impressions. For instance, you would divide 500 by 10,000, or 0.05, if you received 500 clicks out of 10,000 impressions.
- Take the outcome and multiply it by 100. Continuing with the example, 0.05 times 100 is 5. This provides you with the percentage representation of the SaaS Click-Through Rate (CTR). Your CTR in this case would be 5%.
