Creating and Customizing Page Templates – Page Templates

The “Page Templates ” section is where you manage all your Checkout Page designs, whether you’re using PayPro Global’s ready-made templates, adding your own designs or using previously created templates.

To create a new template click and access the creation process which includes defining your template’s Settings, associated Flow and Alignment, its Design, Style and any Advanced editing you may wish to make.

Step 1: Order page settings

Set your template’s name and add its description. Assign the template to its respective product or bundle from your product catalogue and indicate the URL to which your Thank You page should redirect, along with the redirect delay (in seconds).

Click and go to the next step of the process: Flow and Alignment.

Step 2: Flow and Alignment

Your Checkout Page’s flow is one of the most important aspects of your customer’s shopping experience and this is the step where you decide upon its structure.

Select between a 1-step checkout process, 2-steps checkout or 3-steps checkout, depending on your product’s specifics and the complexity of your product & campaign.
Every checkout model has its benefits and the best way to decide upon the optimal version for you is to simply test the available versions and monitor their impact over your conversion rate and overall campaign results.

The first diagram represents the number of steps you want your template to have as shown below.

Based on the Page Flow you choose, you will be given the option to select your preferred Page Alignment template. The simple mockups reflect the structure of each step, so that it will be easy and intuitive to choose the right option for your products.

Step 3 – Order page design

The next step is deciding how critical information will be displayed on your page, such as the language(s) supported on your checkout page, the currency to be displayed, product information and additional offers which will be published on the page.
You will decide upon your preferred design for the customer’s personal information block and the billing information layout.

Additionally, if you require supplementary fields of information, you can easily create & insert them in your page’s layout in this section. You can do so by checking the “I want to add custom fields ” option and clicking to create a new field.

Step 4 – Order page style

The next step of the Page Template creation is the “Style ”. This is where you can define your checkout page’s template in detail: font – type, size and color, background color, links and input text. Selecting Save/Next takes you to the next step: Advanced Editing.

Step 5 – Advanced editing

The Advanced Settings section gives you access to the code behind the page and supplementary tags which you may wish to include in your Checkout & Thank You pages. To do so you will need to check “Enable advanced editing ”.

According to your target customers and sales strategy, you can define your preferred settings for the technical aspects of your page: language & currency selectors and all other content tags within the templates – adjust them to fit your current product or promotion particularities.

From here you can also access your own database of previously uploaded files related to your products & campaigns – just click on . From this section you can manage your file structure, upload & download, update your files and make any other edits needed within your available service disk space.

The hosting space attached to to your account will be adjusted according to your specific requirements.

Important: You can preview your page template at anytime during the editing process, by selecting at the top right of the editing window. Do not forget to save your edits – they are not automatically saved.
